History

• The Past

  **[Obviously this is for the purpose of helping to set up a scene and whatnot. The character roleplaying with Dasyra wouldn't have any idea of her backstory; unless he/she was someone who knew her before now.]
  
  From the time she was born Dasyra was always destined to be quite the powerful little witch. Her mother was a gifted witch herself, along with her father being one of the best warlocks to come from their time. But with all that power in one home, there was constantly trouble. Dasyra's story began long before she was born. It was the mid 1400's and there were constant wars going on. Kings were recruiting mages from wherever they could, because the more you had the better your chances were. Dasyra's parents were always well sought after, because they were known to lend quite the helping hand. However, they ended up betraying quite a nasty king. The king ordered for the to be killed, so they went deep into hiding. After a few years passed the couple thought they could finally breathe, that the scorned king had given up his search for them. But had he?
  
  Well, he hadn't. But Dasyra's parents were none the wiser; and with that cluelessness came happiness when Dasyra was born. Dasyra was destined to be quite powerful even from the day she was born, but she appeared to be a late bloomer of sorts. There were years of her young life where her parents thought she'd be a simpleton with no magical skills whatsoever. That was until one day she was off playing with a friend in the forest and she discovered what she could do. The friend of hers made her angrier than she'd ever been before, and while she was yelling at him a tree nearby seemed to completely disintegrate into a pile of what seemed to be ash. Of course this frightened the young girl enough to send her running all the way home. But when she got there things were not as she had left them. Her entire home seemed like it had been torn apart, ravaged, without a care in the world; and when she called out for her mother and father there wasn't a single response. Dasyra was completely alone and getting more scared by the second, so she began searching the house, desperate to find just the smallest trace of her parents or what had happened. But rather than being able to find anything she set off a trap from whomever had stolen her parents away. The trap was an enchantment that put her into a catatonic state which vastly slowed down her growth. The poor girl wouldn't wake back up for hundreds of years, and when she finally did she was horrified. [This is definitely still under construction.]
